What does TextSMS24 actually do?+
It lets your application queue SMS messages through an Android phone you control. The phone's SIM and mobile carrier send the message.
Does the Android app need to stay running?+
The app uses Android background services to keep your gateway available. Allow notifications and disable battery optimization for reliable operation.
Where do I get my API key?+
After the gateway is registered, open Settings in the Android app and generate a key. Copy it immediately and store it securely; it cannot be retrieved later.
Can I use this to send OTPs?+
Yes. Send a six digit otp field instead of message. TextSMS24 formats it as “Your verification otp is {otp}”.
Where can I see delivery activity?+
Sign in to the admin dashboard to review message states, registered devices, and applications. The API also returns a message ID you can query for status.
